In the 2nd Dams Congress organized between 13 to 15 February 2014, and organized by State Hydraulic Works, TRICOLD and TurkMMB in Istanbul Fair Center, Eser Project’s Deputy General Manager Dr.Ihsan KAS has presented his paper of “Tokat Turhal Dam, Labyrinth Spillway”.
In the congress opened by the Minister of Forestry and Water Works Professor Veysel EROGLU, 80 papers were presented. In Dr.KAS’s paper, the first time application of a labyrinth type spillway in Turkey, designed by Eser Project and Engineering Co.Inc., is presented in the Technical Presentations I.
The 3 day congress is organized together with the “Dams and HPP Technologies Fair”, and is visited by more than two thousand visitors.
