together for a major and international project requiring advanced knowledge
and technology. |

PROJECT |
|
Employer is Libyan Railway
Administration. Project construction works will be performed by Russian
Railways Company and the Consulting Services will be rendered by Eser-Koltek
Joint Venture. Project duration is 4 years. For the purpose of the passenger
and freight transport, 554 km length double-track high speed railway line
will be constructed. The Project consists of 28 stations including 4 main
stations, 30 unit railway bridges and 23 unit highway bridges. |

CONTRACT VALUE |

Construction works value is 3.2
billion US Dollars and the consultancy works value is approximately 42
million US Dollars. |

PROJECT LOCATION |

LibyaN Railway Network
Project runs along the Mediterranean coast of Libya, Libya-Tunisia border in
the west, starting in the country's north-east of Ras Jedir border extending
to the city Emsaad. Approximately has a length of 1700 km rail line which connects
the main Libyan cities. 554 km part of the project
is under the responsibility of ESER – KOLTEK Joint Venture, starting from
Sirth and ending in the city of Benghazi. |
